Job Opening for Sales Engineer – Columbus, OH

Summary:

Provide a foundation of relationship building for soliciting and developing new customers.  Share working knowledge of industrial compressed air systems in a consultative and a solution driving approach.  Strengthen and maintain existing customer relationships in partnership with fellow AHE team members offering the best service to our customers.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective customers and create a calling plan to grow territory base
  • Strengthen and maintain existing relationships through responsive follow up and clear communication.
  • Generate proposed solutions and prepare quote for customer review
  • Develop Preventive Maintenance Agreements
  • Continuous learning of new products and functionality to provide customers with technical advice for effective solutions of compressed air systems including (air compressors and air dryers, cfm, pressure, horsepower, amperage, etc)
  • Seek to understand customers’ pain points/requirements to propose solutions.
  • Completes necessary documentation for sales and service programs.
  • Daily travel in a local territory is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to track and organize information accurately through using various software systems.
  • Self sufficient in planning daily tasks and proactively communicating status of Customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong Customer Service
  • Preferred working knowledge of compressed air systems.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday – Friday 7:30/8:00am -4:00/5:00pm
