Job Opening for Parts Assistant – Sidney, OH

Job Objective – To assist the Parts and Service Team relating to the logistics of parts

Job Description – This position will assist the Parts Manager and Service Team in ordering, shipping, receiving, stocking and logistics associate with air compressor parts.

Daily activities will include:

  • Receive parts shipments and match packing slips with PO#’s
  • Deliver received parts to inventory, or service team as required
  • Pull parts from inventory for daily dispatches
  • Receive new equipment orders, match packing slips to PO#’s
  • Perform check in process for new equipment and maintain new and used inventory list
  • Interact with vendors for lead times on existing orders; expedite as required
  • Maintain organization of parts in all areas
  • Work with team and vendors on return parts relating to warranty
  • Quote customers their parts

Job requirements

  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Computer skills with Word and Excel required
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-starter that works well within a team structure
  • Aptitude towards effective Customer Service
  • Forklift experience a plus but not required
  • Ability to multi-task


  • Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM

Pay Scale

  • Experience dependent
