Job Opening for Accounts Receivable Specialist – Sidney, OH

Summary:
Provide support for accounting functions of AHE by generating all invoicing and processing payments. Maintenance of new customers and submitting invoices to customers. Work with Accountant to provide support for various other accounting duties.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Generates daily invoicing from parts and work order sales.
  • Generates PO# requests and work with end users for assignment and processing
  • Lead collections efforts with customers including sending out statements.
  • Oversee the process of matching payments with invoices to assure proper amount is received.
  • Responsible for processing deposits with banking institutions.
  • Maintenance and setup of new customers based on information from tax exemption forms, credit applications, electronic funds transfer (EFT) and ACH payments, etc.
  • Correspond with customers by submitting invoices through customer required avenues including email, online programs, and U.S. mail.

Job Requirements:

  • Two to Four years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of accounts receivable practices
  • Ability to track and organize information accurately through using various software systems including Work and Excel.
  • Self-sufficient in planning daily tasks and proactively communicating status of service needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong Customer Service.
  • Pre-employment screening includes background check and drug screen. Clean driving record is required.
