Frequently Asked Questions About Our Rental Program

As your business plans for its 2023 equipment budget, it’s important to consider different purchase options for compressed air equipment. Air compressors are vital to operations, and determining the right fit for your operations can be overwhelming.

Air Handling Equipment works with customers to make the process easy. With rental, finance, and capital purchase options available for new and used compressed air equipment, our experienced sales team will help you find the right fit for your production needs.

For a variety of reasons, we at Air Handling Equipment understand our customers prioritize rental equipment for both long-term and short-term needs. Some of these reasons include:

  • Additional equipment to cover demand during busy seasons
  • Eliminating downtime due to emergency repairs or routine maintenance
  • Support during a facility change or move
  • Maintain air demand while waiting for new compressed air equipment to arrive
  • Temporary, off-site production
  • An alternative, more affordable upfront cash flow option to capital purchase

This isn’t a complete list of all the reasons to choose a rental program, but it does highlight some of the benefits. At Air Handling Equipment, we understand no matter the reason, when you need rental support, you need it now. Which is why we maintain an extensive fleet of rental equipment to help minimize downtime while maximizing productivity, ensure operations continue smoothly, and save time and money. How do I rent compressed air equipment for my business?

Customers can reach us multiple ways, whichever is most convenient to them. They can call any one of our three offices, our emergency line (1-800-736-3321) during after hours, or a direct contact if they have a pre-existing relationship built with an account manager.

Anyone looking for compressed air rentals is welcome to stop into one of our three locations and speak to us in person for any rental needs. Customers can expect immediate support and same day turnaround for their rental needs (short-term or long-term).

When would renting compressed air equipment be a better option for me over buying?

Renting affords our customers availability of equipment when needed, without high upfront costs. There also may be additional benefits or flexibility within customers’ budgets when it comes to billing rental costs as an operating expense vs. capital expense with buying equipment.

How quick is the turnaround for delivery and installation?

Turnaround for delivery and installation can be as quick as the same day. Depending on the urgency or reason for the rental, we can provide a solution at their priority.

Can I decide to change my rental agreement to a lease-to-own agreement during the contract?

Yes, if a customer’s situation changes and they prefer to own the rental equipment, we will work with our customer to make this happen.

Is all rental equipment inspected before going out to a customer site?

Before any rental equipment is delivered and installed in the field, it is inspected and tested by our experienced technicians. Additionally, we utilize state-of-the-art load test equipment that simulates field application utilization for our compressed air equipment. Through this thorough multi-step process, our customers will feel confident and at ease knowing they are receiving compressed air equipment in optimal shape.

What happens if equipment stops working during some point of the rental agreement?
